Privacy Policy

Mail Run ("we," "us," or "our") provides a tool that helps you process your email inbox more efficiently. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Access

Mail Run connects to your Gmail account using Google's OAuth authorization. When you connect your account, you grant Mail Run permission to:

  • Read your emails, so they can be displayed in your inbox queue
  • Modify labels on your emails, so you can mark messages as read or archive them
  • Send email on your behalf, so you can reply to messages directly from Mail Run

How We Use Your Information

Mail Run is designed to work directly with your live Gmail data. We do not store your emails, email content, or message metadata on our servers or in any database. Each time you use Mail Run, your inbox is fetched directly from Gmail via Google's API for that session only.

We use standard authentication session cookies to keep you signed in. These cookies do not contain your email content and are used solely to maintain your login session.

Analytics

We use basic analytics tools (such as Vercel Analytics) to understand how Mail Run is used, for example page views and general usage patterns. These tools do not have access to your email content and are not used to read or analyze the contents of your inbox.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We do not use your Gmail data for advertising purposes. Your Gmail data is only ever transmitted between your browser, Mail Run, and Google's servers as needed to display and act on your inbox.

Data Retention

Because we don't store your email data, there is nothing for us to retain. When you disconnect your Google account or stop using Mail Run, no email data persists anywhere on our end. Your authentication session ends when your session cookie expires or you sign out.

Revoking Access

You can revoke Mail Run's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page. This immediately stops Mail Run from accessing your Gmail data.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Mail Run's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
