Terms of Service

Welcome to Mail Run. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mail Run website and application (the "Service"), operated by us at trymailrun.app. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

Mail Run is a tool that connects to your Gmail account to help you process your inbox in focused sessions. The Service allows you to view, read, mark as read, archive, and reply to emails directly from your Gmail account.

2. Google Account Connection

To use Mail Run, you must connect a Google account via Google's OAuth authorization. By connecting your account, you authorize Mail Run to access and act on your Gmail data as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the Google account you connect and for any actions taken through Mail Run using that account, including sending, modifying, or archiving emails.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Mail Run to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or fraudulent messages
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure
  • Use the Service in any way that violates Google's Terms of Service or API policies

4. No Storage of Email Data

Mail Run does not store your email content or message data on our servers. The Service operates directly on your live Gmail data via Google's API for the duration of your session. We are not responsible for changes resulting from actions you take within Mail Run, such as archiving or sending emails, as these actions are performed directly on your Gmail account.

5. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep Mail Run available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, or issues outside our control, including outages or changes to Google's APIs.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mail Run and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, emails sent or archived in error, or loss of access to your Google account.

8. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using Mail Run at any time and revoke its access to your Google account via your Google Account permissions page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
